Financial Planner Support

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Planner Support to provide essential administrative support to our Financial Planners and Directors.

This role is key in ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate information for client meetings and maintaining up-to-date client records. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare and compile accurate client review packs, ensuring thorough checks where necessary.
  • Provide accurate and timely information by liaising with providers and third parties as needed.
  • Maintain a clear audit trail for all client records, ensuring documents are saved and named correctly.
  • Keep Financial Planners and team members informed of progress, escalating concerns or complaints as necessary.
  • Hold weekly review meetings with Financial Planners to discuss priorities and resolve issues.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings to support Financial Planners, presenting elements such as cashflow when required and approved by the line manager.
  • Conduct pre- and post-meeting reviews, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure meeting notes are issued within two weeks and actions completed.
  • Support and develop junior team members to undertake tasks that benefit the team and clients.
  • Complete due diligence for new business, following checklists; generate platform calculators and highlight queries to the line manager.
  • Generate template suitability letters completing factual and free-type sections; seek assistance from Lead Support or Senior FP Support if needed.
  • Monitor and action weekly cash weightings in consultation with Financial Planners.
  • Maintain and update personal development records via the Beckett Academy App, ensuring objectives and training impact are recorded.
  • Participate in projects and tasks to support personal development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Progressing towards a Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Experience providing accurate and timely financial services administrative support.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work proactively and on own initiative.
