An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead a high-performing engineering team at one of London's most prestigious commercial buildings, located just minutes from Liverpool Street Station. Your Role:

Supervise and coordinate the delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems

*

Provide hands-on technical support and leadership to a team of shift engineers and contractors

*

Oversee maintenance of building services including HVAC, power distribution, UPS, lighting, small power, BMS, and water systems

*

Take ownership of shift operations, including fault escalation, emergency response, and handover reporting

*

Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, health & safety protocols, and company procedures

*

Liaise with the client and senior management to ensure high service standards are maintained

*

Mentor junior engineers, support training initiatives, and lead by example in all aspects of service delivery

What You'll Need:

*

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installations and/or Mechanical Engineering

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (required)

*

Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role within commercial or critical environments

*

Excellent knowledge of both electrical and mechanical building services systems

*

Ability to manage teams, coordinate workloads, and handle escalations effectively

*

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication and leadership skills

What's On Offer:

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

*

Shift Pattern: Continental shifts (4 on, 4 off - 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights)

Overtime: Regular availability at enhanced rates
