Freelance M&E Manager - 6-Month Contract | Aberdeen | Immediate Start | Outside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance M&E Manager to join a dynamic project team on a multi-million pound commercial new build in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering this scheme, working on behalf of a well-established main contractor.

👷 Responsibilities:

*

Oversee the full delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) building services packages

*

Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme targets are met

*

Work closely with site and project management teams to ensure smooth integration of services

*

Monitor progress, carry out inspections, and report on performance against key milestones

*

Maintain and enforce Health & Safety standards on site

📌 Requirements:

*

SMSTS/SSSTS certification or equivalent is essential

*

Proven track record managing both mechanical and electrical installations on commercial projects

*

Strong experience delivering M&E works, ideally for a main contractor (subcontractor experience also considered)

*

Ability to read technical drawings, coordinate services, and drive programme delivery

*

Excellent communication and leadership skills
