1:1 Teaching Assistants - EHCP Support - Gainsborough - September Start

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £82 - £90 per day (depending on experience)

Simply Education is currently recruiting for multiple 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in primary schools across Gainsborough. These full-time positions are to begin in September and are expected to continue on an ongoing basis throughout the academic year.

About the Role:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for children with EHCPs in EYFS, KS1, or KS2

Support learning, social development, and emotional regulation in and out of the classroom

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to meet the needs of individual pupils

Help implement and monitor targets set within each child's EHCP

Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN)

A patient, understanding, and supportive approach

Confidence in managing behaviour and following tailored learning plans

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
