Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (flexibility required)

A1 Personnel is partnering with a Freight Forwarding company who is looking for a proactive and commercially-minded European Export Road Freight Administrator to join their growing team. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional service, optimising transport operations, and driving profitability, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an essential part of our European Export team, you will ensure the smooth running of all daily export activities. You will work closely with the Export Operations Manager and wider team to deliver an efficient, profitable, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all daily European Export bookings with accuracy and care.
  • Work alongside the Export Operations Manager to plan trailers for maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Deliver outstanding service by meeting — and exceeding — client expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Support the sales department in developing both the Export division and the business overall.
  • Assist in driving departmental and company-wide profit growth.

Main Duties

  • Assist in daily trailer planning across core European markets.
  • Prioritise all export bookings and market-specific activity.
  • Help complete EAD documents and manage customs documentation.
  • Liaise closely with the warehouse team, supervising trailer loading and space management.
  • Handle general export and SWE bookings, enquiries, collections, and overseas deliveries.
  • Manage invoicing for the Export department and ensure all costs are accurately entered into Navitas.
  • Negotiate competitive supplier rates.
  • Maintain the daily export profit spreadsheet.
  • Create jobs and manifests in LBase and liaise with the accounts team on any cost/sales queries.
  • Communicate with overseas agents to ensure seamless international coordination.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during absence and assist in training new staff when required.
