Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Final Inspection Operative to work with their production team . Specialising in manufacturing precision engineered components they are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality and timely delivery.

Main Duties

• Perform final stage component inspections, both visual and measuring as appropriate.
• Perform final stage corrections as needed using hand tools
• Properly pack and label finished products for safe transport and delivery.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

• Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Quality environment.
• Experience with both hand tools and basic measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good administration and basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.
• You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
• Safety boots will be required.

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday and Friday hours a week
