Supply Desk are recruiting for an independent school for young people aged 11-19 with Autism (ASC), usually high functioning autism or Asperger's syndrome. The school is located in Sayers Common, West Sussex.

What about the role?

We are looking for a Behaviour Specialist with ASC/ SEND experience to support students. We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion and strong understanding of SEN learning environments. The school are looking for individuals who have a fantastic work ethic, who can bring their dedication and specialist knowledge to help students learning and development.

  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Enthusiasm, dedication and motivation
  • Team Teach or Positive Restraint Equivalent
  • A passion and desire to work with students with additional needs
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-12 months
