Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + shift allowance
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days only, 7:00am - 7:00pm)
We are currently recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Engineers (electrical bias) to join a high-performing team at the iconic The Gherkin.
This is a busy, high-profile commercial site spanning 41 floors, offering a fast-paced and varied working environment. If you enjoy a role where no two days are the same, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of building services systems.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) across landlord and tenant areas.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out electrical and multi-skilled maintenance tasks
* Responding to reactive maintenance issues in a timely manner
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
* Working on a wide range of plant including generators, chillers, cooling towers, and sprinkler systems
* Supporting ongoing site projects and continuous improvement works
* Engaging with clients and stakeholders in a professional, customer-focused manner
The Team
You'll be joining a close-knit and supportive on-site team, consisting of:
* 4 Engineers
* Fabric Technician
* Water Technician
* Operations Manager
* Account Director.
Qualifications & Experience
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* HVAP / LVAP status (current or lapsed considered)
* City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* Experience working within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
