Production Engineer - Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our client based in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC milling and be proficient in 5-axis offline programming. The candidate should also possess expertise in using CAD/CAM software to create efficient and effective machining processes.

Production Engineer - Responsibilities:

Develop and optimise CNC milling programs for 5-axis machines using CAD/CAM software.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any programme-related issues to maintain production continuity.
Conduct periodic reviews and adjustments to existing CNC programs to enhance productivity and quality.
Work closely with the design and engineering teams to interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
Analyse and interpret technical drawings and 3D models to develop CNC milling programs.
Collaborate with production and design teams to implement efficient machining strategies. 

Production Engineer - Requirements:

Proficiency in CNC milling with a focus on 5-axis machining.
Experience in offline programming for CNC milling machines.
Proficient in using CAD/CAM software to develop and optimise machining processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

Production Engineer - Salary & Benefits:

£35,000pa - £45,000pa
