A vibrant and forward-thinking 11-16 academy near Stroud is looking to recruit a Food Technology Teacher from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position in a welcoming and inclusive school with an emphasis on life skills and wellbeing.

The department has recently been refurbished with a new teaching kitchen and garden allotment space. You will play a vital role in teaching food preparation and nutritional understanding to a wide range of learners, supporting healthy choices and sustainability through cooking.

Main Duties:

Plan and deliver engaging Food and Nutrition lessons at KS3 and KS4

*

Prepare students for AQA Food Prep & Nutrition GCSE

*

Organise food events such as healthy eating week or international food day

*

Liaise with local businesses and food producers to enrich the curriculum

Essential Criteria:

Relevant degree with PGCE and QTS

*

Food Technology/Food and Nutrition teaching experience

*

Passion for inclusive, skills-based education

*

Confident classroom management and engaging lesson planning
