Role Summary
My client are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering. The role requires proven leadership and supervisory skills to manage people, processes, and workflows in a technically demanding workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce health and safety standards and maintain a clean, organised workshop

*

Lead, motivate, and develop workshop personnel

*

Control workflow, labour, materials, and equipment scheduling

*

Plan and manage production activities to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines

*

Liaise closely with internal sales, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams

*

Manage relationships with external suppliers and partners

Skills & Experience

*

Formal engineering qualification (Mechanical Engineering or similar)

*

Strong knowledge of manual and CNC machining, and fabrication processes

*

Previous experience in a production or workshop management role

*

Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Salary & Benefits

* £40,000+

* 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

* Monday-Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm with 30 min lunch break (12:30pm-13:00pm)

* Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm with 30 min lunch break (12:30pm-13:00pm)
