Event Assistant (Advertising Division)
In this entry-level role, the Event Assistant will use their eagerness to learn and natural enthusiasm to assist our on-site marketing and advertising team with all tasks involved in developing and executing an overall retail event marketing plan on behalf of our client.
Responsibilities of the Event Assistant :
Attend retail marketing events in approved promotional areas at Tampa largest big-box retailers to advertise/market client products.
Assist in management of retail event including preparing retail event campaign spaces and assisting with set-up and breakdown of event materials and kiosks.
Perform merchandise presentations to event attendees to highlight key product/service features to drive key brand messages and advertise product.
Manage promotional inventory and create exciting visual displays for each client product/service.
Assist customers with any questions they may have in regards to featured client products/services at on-site advertising events.
Ensure highest level of customer service during events resulting in increased productivity and achieving marketing and sales goals.
Assist the event manager and advertising teams with any day to day administrative support as required

Qualifications of the Event Assistant:
Post-secondary education preferred
0-3 years working experience
Proven ability to set and achieve goals
Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a company
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all things advertising
Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and advertising
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
Travel to on-site events taking place throughout the Tampa area will be a role requirement
