Media Lecturer

We are currently seeking a Media Lecturer to start as soon as possible. This position is initially for a six-week cover, with the possibility of extension until the end of the academic year. There may also be an opportunity to apply for a permanent post. The role requires a skilled professional who is experienced in delivering Level 3 vocational Media courses or equivalent.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Level 3 vocational Media courses.
• Utilise strong software skills, particularly in the Adobe Suite, to enhance course delivery.
• Amend schemes of work (SOW), develop learning resources, and carry out student assessments.
• Work closely with students to ensure they meet their learning objectives and provide support where necessary.
• Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in delivering Level 3 vocational Media courses or equivalent.
• Strong software skills, with proficiency in the Adobe Suite being highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to amend schemes of work, develop learning resources, and carry out student assessments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
