Teaching Assistant - Secondary School

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.

The Role:

Provide classroom support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assist teachers with lesson delivery, resources, and classroom management

Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

Encourage positive behaviour, participation, and progress

Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience supporting young people in a school or similar setting

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning

A genuine interest in education and helping students succeed
