Quality Engineer - Play a Key Role in Driving Quality Forward
Salary: Up to £45,000

Join a technically strong operation known for its high standards and hands-on culture. This is a newly created Quality Engineer position, designed to strengthen quality systems and lead structured, practical problem-solving across a busy engineering environment.

With a clear focus on continuous improvement, this business is ready to invest in the right individual—offering both challenge and long-term progression. You'll work closely with a driven Head of QSHE who's looking to delegate responsibility and develop future leadership.

Your Impact as a Quality Engineer:

* Take ownership of NCRs and lead effective resolution through corrective and preventative actions

* Drive structured problem-solving across the site using tools like 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa

* Train and coach shop floor and management teams in root cause analysis and quality thinking

* Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001

* Contribute to audit readiness, continuous improvement, and cultural development around quality

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment

* Solid knowledge of quality tools and techniques—particularly RCA, CAPA, and ISO standards

* Confident communicator who can influence across departments and engage a blunt, banter-driven shop floor culture

* Resilient, hands-on, and able to win respect through credibility and consistency

* Practical mindset—degree helpful but not essential without applied experience

Why Join?

* Genuine opportunity with clear scope to grow

* Supportive, technically capable leadership team

* Full on-site role with early finish Fridays and potential for flexible working once trust is established

* Up to £45,000 salary, depending on experience
