We are leading provider in high end residential AV systems and solutions. We recently expanded to create a new department, branded Atlantis Connect, providing rural broadband throughout the UK.
We are seeking a Senior AV Field Engineer to service high end residential clients in London, the Home Counties and South England. The ideal candidate will combine technical AV knowledge with leadership and customer-facing abilities.
Responsibilities:
Install AV equipment in High end residential environment. Including: speakers, TV's, lighting control, blinds, networks, phone systems
Installing and troubleshooting mainly Control4 AV and lighting control systems, Lutron and Rako lighting control systems, Ubiquiti and Draytek networks, Dahua and Hikvision CCTV systems and 2N door entry systems.
Work closely with all the internal & external teams to provide excellent customer service
Support the project manager and internal teams with technical advice and timings.
Perform troubleshooting, problem solving, and complete Project Manager's action lists to client acceptance
Perform field service calls as required for warranty support of completed projects
Rack fabrication and buildout of AV equipment and networking gear  Properly label and dress all cabling
Create installation/work reports
Review plans, elevations and technical drawings Terminate all audio, video and control connections according to drawings
Serve as a point of contact for clients and ensure all needs are met
Develop and deliver project documentation to map progress
Train customers on functions of the system
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:
* Flexible non-9-5 mentality (we service the whole of the South of England)
* Problem solver, with a can-do attitude
* Detail-oriented and collaborative team player
* Good research skills and an active interest in new technologies
* Minimum Level 2 Certified Control4 Installer
* At least 4 years field experience installing and carrying out troubleshooting on Control4 systems
* At least 4 years field experience installing and programming Lutron, Control4 and Rako lighting control systems
* Proven experience in programming networks, particularly Ubiquiti and Draytek
* Experience of Mikrotik, Araknis and Pakedge products desirable, but not essential
* Understanding of how networks, AV systems, light, shades and HVAC are integrated and interrelate
* Willingness to undertake training where required
* Ability to recommend solutions to issues found in AV systems
* Ability to read construction & CAD drawings
* Ability to comprehend signal flow of audiovisual system schematics
* Familiarity with multimeters and other electronic test meters
* Experience using Hand and power tools
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Proven ability of following procedures and producing work reports
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* IT skills capability that allows you to set up PCs, install software and OS
* Health and safety knowledge
* Driver's License
