About the role
Teach Now is seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025. This exciting opportunity is with a well-respected community primary school in Archway, Islington, serving pupils from 6 months to 11 years.

The school has a strong inclusive ethos, deep-rooted community connections, and a powerful focus on pastoral care and safeguarding. In its most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2023), the school was praised for its outstanding personal development, thanks to a trauma-informed, nurturing culture and robust support systems.

Key responsibilities
• plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• implement consistent behaviour and pastoral strategies, such as the Zones of Regulation
• uphold and model the school's safeguarding procedures
• work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum development
• participate in extra-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives

Person specification
• qualified teacher status (QTS)
• experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (please note: ECTs will not be considered for this role)

• committed to trauma-informed practices and whole-child development
