S&D Trade Recruitment is working with one of our clients to recruit an Electrician in B63, Halesowen, Dudley, with immediate starts available. This role is on a temporary basis. Hours of work are 8 hours, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with more local to work to follow. The work will take place in a building that has been converted from an office into 3 self-contained flats and involves the installation and commissioning of fire detection and fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839-6. Compliance with BS 5839-6 is required for this role as is ECS Gold Card. The role is ideal for qualified Electricians seeking temporary work with the possibility of further local projects to follow.
Electrician Key Duties:
* Second fix electrical installations (with some first fix)
* Installation and commissioning of fire detection and fire alarm systems (BS 5839-6), including:
* S404 BBU Control Panel x 1.
* Break Glass Units x 5.
* Day Switch - x 1 .
* Optical Smoke Detectors - x3.
* Acoustic Alarm - x 1.
Electrician Requirements
* Gold ECS Card (Essential).
* Must have BS 5839-6 fire alarm systems (Essential).
* Strong knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and safe working practices.
