About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including covering classes when teachers are absent. This is a varied and rewarding position ideal for someone looking to develop their leadership in the classroom.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 in the teacher's absence
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them achieve their potential
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Preparing classroom resources and supporting with general classroom duties
Liaising with staff and parents to provide regular progress updates
Following the school's behaviour, safeguarding and teaching policies at all timesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent
Previous experience working in a primary school setting
Strong classroom management and confident delivery of lessons
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, flexible and positive attitudeAbout the School
