Plant and Vehicle Mechanic - Chatham Area - Up to £50,000 - 4 day working week

The Company

A successful, tier one utilities contractor is looking for an experienced mechanic to help maintain and repair their plant (360 diggers, Cherry pickers amongst others) and fleet of HGVs, Vans and Hiabs.

The Role

Based from my clients main depot in Kent the successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues and common vehicle faults. Where necessary you will help select and manage specialist repair subcontractors.

Diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles and specialist civil engineering plant

Helping to manage spare parts inventory

Selecting, managing and coordinating specialist repair and maintenance suppliers
