The Magnolia School is looking to fill several positions for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking to fill teaching positions within our classrooms as well as support staff positions providing pull out 1:1 and small group services.
Qualified applications must: have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, be available full time between 7:30-5:30 M-F, be able to lift 20 pounds, have experience working with children between the ages of 3-12
Preferred Qualifications include: knowledge of behavior analysis, RBT certification (or higher),experience with neuro-typical and children with learning disabilities
Job Duties include: managing a classroom of children, teaching groups, assisting with daily living skills as needed, data collection and analysis, strong communication skills, desire to work as part of a team, planning curriculum activities, implementing behavior plans and individual teaching programs

The Magnolia School is a private school for children ages 3 - 6th grade. We have been in Austin since 2012 and provide an alternative educational experience. Students work in homogenous groups and move through curriculum at their pace. Principles of behavior analysis are utilized to determine learning tracks and monitor progress. Teachers work in tandem with another teacher in a co-teacher team. We have low student:teacher ratios and work to build life-longer learners.
