Warehouse Operative - Job Type: 12th June & 13th June
- Location: Uckfield - Driving across Kent / East Sussex roughly 10 drops
- Dates: Thursday 12th & Friday 13th June, 8am-5pm (Lunch 1pm-2pm)
Reed Crawley are looking for a proactive Warehouse Operative to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role involves handling various warehouse duties including the delivery of goods. You will be working in a dynamic environment that requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Day-to-day of the role: - Taking delivery of goods and storing them in the appropriate locations.
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to the schedule (loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, shipping).
- Checking for damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies.
- Moving stock manually or with machines as required.
- Maintaining accurate stock records.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at all times.
- Delivering orders efficiently to customers across Kent and East Sussex, with roughly 10 drops per day.
- Ensuring all work undertaken complies with current health and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points (for insurance purposes) and minimum age of 18.
- Own transport to commute to the warehouse.
- Experience driving a Ford Transit or similar vehicle is advantageous.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
