Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round

 

Our client, a warm and inclusive nursery, is seeking a confident and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for early years education to take the next step in their career, leading a room and supporting a team of practitioners in delivering outstanding care and learning.

 

Set within a beautifully renovated Grade II listed building, the nursery offers bright, spacious rooms designed to foster creativity, exploration, and growth in a supportive environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Practitioner, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practice in early years development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, inclusive mindset and a commitment to high-quality care

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team within your designated room, modelling high standards of practice
  • Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open and supportive communication
  • Maintain accurate observations, assessments, and records of children’s progress
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures
