Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Strategy Development Officer to work in Swindon in the NHS, this role is a temporary contract working full time hours.

Hourly Rate £23.00Ltd an hour (paid weekly via an umbrella company)

The post holder will assist in the coordination and support of the Trust's strategy development. This will include horizon scanning, working closely with clinical divisions and back office support functions. It will include document development and engagement as well as supporting the development of business cases as appropriate. The post holder will support the implementation, monitoring and embedding of the Trust strategy ensuring that each division has a clear and credible five year plan which is regularly reviewed and updated. The post holder will help the Trust to make informed decisions about our services and our place in the system.

Strategic Development & Business Planning

To support the development and implementation of the Trust's strategy and ensure that it is implemented in a sustainable way that fully includes all members of the Trust board, the Trust's clinicians, and divisional teams, targeted groups of staff, patients and key stakeholders.
To demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of local Trusts' business performance and strategies and ensure appropriate cascade of such information across the organisation.
To work collaboratively with colleagues within the Trust and outside the Trust to develop and implement organisation wide strategies and plans which impact across the whole health economy.
To engage, with the support of the Associate Director of Strategy, key stakeholders across the local and regional patch with issues which require a strategic policy response.Qualifications

Degree Level or Above

Education or training which demonstrates ability to communicate in written form.


Experience of writing clear, high quality content for a variety of audiences including producing and giving presentations.
Experience in managing projects
Experience of organising events
Experience in handling confidential information
Experience of working in the NHS and current priorities
Experience of supporting bids and tenders
