About Us: The Education Network is seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in one of our partner schools located in the vibrant South Shields area starting in September 2024. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience of students within the classroom.

What We're Looking For:
Experience Matters: You'll need prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, ensuring you're well-versed in supporting students with diverse needs.
Curriculum Confidence: Understanding the national curriculum and delivering it effectively is essential.
Qualifications: Hold a recognized Teaching Assistant qualification or have recent school experience within the last 2 years.
Compassionate and Caring: Bring your nurturing attitude to create a positive learning environment.
Safety First: Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods.
Passion for Inclusion: Work with students who have additional needs, making a real impact.
Adaptability: Be flexible and thrive in new learning environments.
Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
1-2-1 Support: Provide personalized assistance to individual students.
Small Group Work: Engage with students across Key Stage 1 and 2 in small group settings.
DBS Ready: Possess a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to apply for one.
Commitment: Available 5 days a week and able to commit to the full academic year, up to the end of the summer term.Why Choose Us?
