Responsibilities of this role:

• Lead, supervise, and support social workers and practitioners to maintain high-quality practice.
• Provide management oversight on complex cases, risk assessments, and decision-making.
• Ensure statutory duties are met for CIN, CP, LAC, and other CWD-related processes.
• Oversee timely and effective assessments, planning, and reviews to meet children’s needs.
• Promote multi-agency collaboration with health, education, and SEND partners.
• Monitor team performance, ensuring quality, timeliness, and professional standards.
• Support staff development through supervision, coaching, and reflective practice.
• Contribute to service improvement and development of CWD pathways and processes.

Requirements of this role

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
