Wilmslow, UK
Apply Now

Company: PALATINE TALENT LTD

Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

We are proud to be partnering with an outstanding, PE-backed, international media agency going through an exciting phase of M&A and growth. This is a unique opportunity for a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) to step into a Senior Accountant role covering maternity leave for 12 months.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role with responsibility for reporting across multiple group entities, including operations in the USA and Europe. You’ll lead the day-to-day financial operations, produce accurate management accounts, oversee VAT and cashflow, and support integration of acquired businesses. You’ll also supervise a team of three, so strong leadership and people skills are key.

As a proven Finance Manager, you will be fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), possess experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and ideally, prior exposure to Private Equity-backed businesses or M&A integration. Your approach will be calm and communicative with the ability to lead from the front, challenge where needed, and build relationships across the business. Solid experience in management accounts, controls, VAT, payroll, cashflow and reconciliations are expected.

There is the prospect of a permanent opportunity beyond the initial 12 months.

This is a high-performing, purpose-led group where communications, clarity, and people matter. Their work is rooted in impact and their values reflect that. You'll work with professionals who take pride in their role, and you’ll need to appreciate the value of what the wider business delivers. This is more than a back-office finance role. It is a chance to understand the business, influence it, and help shape its future.

My client offers a strong hybrid working model, with only 1 day per week in the Wilmslow office being mandatory - and flexibility to work from home or the Manchester city centre office the rest of the week. You will also find benefits including private medical, wellbeing allowance, critical illness cover, Christmas shutdowns and 25 days holiday per annum minimum. This genuinely is a values-led business with a people-first culture.
