Location: Bristol (Hybrid - approx. 60% onsite)
Rate: £42.39 per hour (Umbrella) / £31.68 per hour PAYE
Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 day working week)
Contract: Until October 2026 (high likelihood of extension)
Clearance: BPSS required (to be completed during onboarding)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business & Project Management Partner to join a leading global organisation within a highly collaborative engineering environment. This role will support operational delivery across a large engineering function and play a key part in ensuring effective business operations, project performance management, and resource planning.

Working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders, you will help drive operational excellence by supporting planning activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring business and project management processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities

* Support engineering teams with business and project management processes to ensure effective operational delivery.

* Maintain and monitor workload planning, resource management and financial plans, ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements.

* Track performance against plans and identify deviations, risks and opportunities, taking proactive action where required.

* Manage and coordinate external suppliers and offload engineering resources, ensuring activities are launched and managed in line with company policies.

* Collate, analyse and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to support leadership decision-making.

* Support governance activities, including financial, resource and performance reviews.

* Provide guidance to engineering teams on project management best practices and operational processes.

* Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members within the business and project management support function.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, implementing new ways of working and helping drive operational efficiency.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced engineering environment and enjoys supporting operational delivery across complex projects.

You will ideally have:

* Experience in Business Management, Project Management, or Project Controls.

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage across multiple teams.

* Experience in planning, workload management, financial tracking or performance reporting.

* Strong analytical skills with experience using digital tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.

* Experience working with suppliers, purchase orders, or resource coordination.

* The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and remain resilient in a dynamic environment.

* A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience within engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, or other technical environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

Additional Information

* Hybrid working model with approximately 60% onsite presence

* 35-hour working week across 4.5 days, with flexibility within business hours (7am-7pm).

* Overtime paid at standard rate for hours worked beyond 35 per week.

* Occasional travel may be required.
