Peek Pavement Marking has an immediate opening for Asst. Division Manager in the South Carolina (SC) Division. This position will work closely with the SC Division Manager and SC Production Managers and performs delegated managerial responsibilities with an opportunity of earning a promotion to manager. During this process, the individual will gain the experience and knowledge required to perform managerial duties alone.
Previous management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
This is a Full-Time position.

The primary work reporting location will be in the in Summerville, SC. However, this position will require overnight travel to various work locations in South Carolina as needed to accomplish the requirements of this position.

Road Pavement/Construction industry experience/background is required
Able and willing to conduct field work to learn each crew mission sets
Knowledge of human resources, leadership principles, and conflict resolution theories
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of contracts and scheduling
Lead and Manage multiple teams to ensure project completion
Project planning and scheduling. Create and keep up-to-date project plans throughout the lifecycle of a project including resources and timelines. Schedule milestones and ensure that commitments are met and align with the business strategy.
Experience managing, maintaining and communicating project timelines and milestones.
Managing scope. Establish processes for reinforcing, managing and containing the project within scope.
Managing remote operations. Collaboratively work with team members who are physically located in various offices across South Carolina.
Solving issues and challenges. React quickly and calmly to problems as they arise.
Communication. Proactively communicate issues, status, risks, and needs to all internal and external stakeholders critical to a project’s success. Ask questions and actively listen to understand the business objectives.
Mechanical background to understand pavement marking equipment
Bachelor’s degree (may consider experience in lieu of education)
