Are you passionate about early childhood education and committed to delivering outstanding care and development opportunities for young children? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take the lead in developing and implementing early years education in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Position: Early Years Education Lead
Location: Leicester 
Salary: Starting at £13.42 per hour without QTS and £14.42 with QTS  
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement early years education programs in accordance with the EYFS requirements 
Lead the teaching in all areas of the foundation stage, focussing on helping the children to achieve early learning goals.
To lead and support the overall planning, assessment and evaluation of the curriculum and the children in the early years
setting
Ensure that the nursery achieves an 'Outstanding' rating by seeking necessary support and resources.
Foster the social and communication skills of children, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers to enhance support for children's development.
Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with the Nursery Manager to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.Requirements:

BA (Hons) Early Years or equivelent / QTS 
Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
In-depth understanding of the EYFS/ SEF framework and its practical application.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
Previous childcare experience with age range to 5 years.
Previous experience working within a Nursery environment
Knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
