HGV Mechanic

Location: Milton Keynes
Hourly rate: £18.00-£22.00 + Overtime paid at £27.00-£33.00
Hours: 6am to 4pm week 1 & 2pm to 12am week 2
Days: Monday to Friday

Overview
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy, well-established commercial vehicle workshop. Due to ongoing growth and new contract wins, our client is expanding their team and looking for a skilled technician to support their service and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance, repairs and overhauls on a range of HGVs and trailers
Complete routine servicing, diagnostics and fault-finding
Follow the full repair process from initial inspection to job completion
Conduct routine checks, safety inspections and pre-MOT preparation
Work to high standards to ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy and compliantRequirements:
Previous experience within an HGV dealership or fleet workshop
NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced workshopHow to Apply:
