A well-established food production business is looking for a hands-on Yard & Grading Manager to take charge of a busy operation and lead a team on site.

This is a role for someone who likes being out on the floor, running things, leading people, and keeping operations moving.

What you'll be doing

Running the yard and grading operation day to day
Leading and supporting a team on shift
Overseeing forklift movement and site traffic
Making sure product is graded correctly and standards are met
Keeping the yard organised, safe, and running smoothly
Monitoring team performance and hitting daily targets
Working closely with the operations leadership team
Stepping in to support wider operations when neededThis is a visible leadership role where you'll be trusted to manage your area and make decisions.

What they're looking for

Experience supervising or managing a team
Background in fresh produce, food production, warehouse, agriculture, or similar
Someone hands-on who leads from the front
Good communicator who can organise people and keep things moving
Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment
Own transport required due to location
