Location: Alfreton
Commutable from Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Ripley, Nottingham

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 16:30
Overtime available on Fridays

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

This is a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the production of waste compactors, offering a stable working environment and a four-day working week.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy and growing fabrication team. This is a hands-on role working with mild steel components in a production environment.

MIG welding on mild steel components
Working with material thicknesses between 5mm - 6mm
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Ensuring weld quality meets required standards
Working efficiently to production deadlines
Supporting general fabrication duties where required

About You

Proven experience in MIG welding
Experience working with mild steel
Ability to work from engineering drawings
Reliable and consistent work history
Strong attention to detail and quality
