Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) - Day Shifts, 33 Hours per week - £20.40 per hour

 

Are you a registered nurse with experience in care homes, looking for a day shifts role where you can focus on delivering high-quality care? This Staff Nurse position offers the opportunity to work within a well-established home providing nursing, dementia, palliative and residential care.

 

You’ll play a key role on shift, managing residents’ clinical needs and supporting the wider team to deliver person-centred care.

  • Applicants must have recent experience working in a nursing home or similar setting.
  • This position is not suitable for newly qualified nurses.

What You’ll Need

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration

  • Ability to manage a clinical workload independently on shift
  • Competence in medication administration and care planning

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver and oversee clinical care for residents on shift
  • Administer medication and monitor treatment plans
  • Assess residents’ needs and update care plans accordingly
  • Supervise and support care staff in daily delivery of care
  • Respond to clinical changes and escalate where required
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with standards
