Teacher of Drama

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a mixed secondary school located in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The school is easily accessible from out of the area.

The school have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Drama to join a friendly and supportive department where leaders and staff have high ambitions for pupils. CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire
• Position - Teacher of Drama
• Start date - ASAP start date
• Contract duration - until the end of July 2024. Temp-to-perm contracts available
• Full time/part time - Full time, but flexible to offer part-time
• Minimum rate of pay - Paid to scale (negotiable)
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3pm, plus parents' evenings and department meetings

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year English teaching experience in the UK
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
