The Role

We're looking for an experienced SHE Advisor to support the delivery and continuous improvement of our safety, health, and environmental standards across our UK and ROI construction sites. This role is key to maintaining compliance, promoting best practice, and ensuring the wellbeing of site teams and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive a positive safety, health & environmental culture across all projects and with the supply chain.

* Implement and monitor project-specific SHE plans and documentation.

* Carry out audits, inspections, and review RAMS to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

* Deliver toolbox talks and onsite training, highlighting high-risk operations and health risks.

* Support site teams on COSHH, incident reporting, and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

* Advise on legal updates and assist with external audits and HSE liaison.

* Participate in tender interviews and prepare end-of-project SHE documentation.

* Mentor junior team members and contribute to SHEQ policy reviews and updates.

* Ensure quality and environmental control procedures are implemented.

* Represent the company at industry functions and promote CSR initiatives.

Requirements

Essential Experience

* 5+ years in a similar SHE role within construction.

* Strong background in risk management, inspections, incident investigations, and training delivery.

* Competent in report writing and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

* Understanding of temporary works, cranes, traffic management, and environmental risks.

* Familiarity with construction methodologies and tender documentation processes.

Qualifications

* NEBOSH Construction (essential).

* CSCS/CSR/Safe Pass (ROI).

* Recognised First Aid at Work.

* Degree, HNC/D or BTEC in a relevant discipline - or substantial industry experience.

Desirable Qualifications

* IOSH/IIRSM status.

* NEBOSH Fire, Temporary Works, Scaffold Inspection, Mental Health First Aid.

* Project management qualification.

* BREEAM awareness.

Skills

* Excellent communicator with strong leadership and organisational skills.

* Skilled in Microsoft Suite and SHE management systems.

* Attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Other Requirements

* Eligible to work in the UK and ROI.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
