A forward-thinking accountancy firm are looking for an accomplished Corporate Tax Manager to join its corporate tax advisory team.

In this position, you will lead complex tax assignments, oversee key client accounts and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of our tax practice. You'll work closely with partners and senior leaders, driving high-value projects and mentoring a talented team.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring both compliance and strategic advisory needs are met.
• Lead complex assignments, including international tax, reorganisations and M&A projects.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and support team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Review and approve corporate tax computations and returns.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation, sharing insights with clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and process improvement within the tax department.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events and professional gatherings.

Personal Requirements

• Extensive corporate tax experience with a track record in a managerial role.
• Deep technical knowledge and the ability to provide strategic tax advice.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional qualification (CTA, ACA) with relevant tax experience.
• Familiarity with tax software and broader accounting principles.
