Full-Time Teaching Assistant - KS2

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (initially pay rolled through Tradewind Recruitment)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children's learning and development? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming and well-managed semi-rural primary school in Chesterfield, praised by Ofsted for its strong leadership and excellent pupil behaviour.

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work full-time with KS2 pupils, both within the classroom and delivering small group intervention sessions. You will be working closely with class teachers to support learning, contribute to planning, and help create an inclusive, engaging environment for all pupils.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working as a TA in a primary school setting (KS2 preferred)

Hold a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)

Be confident leading small group interventions and supporting pupils with varying needs

Be proactive, positive, and a strong team player

Be committed to the well being and progress of every child
