A well-established accountancy practice based in Woodford Green is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team. Despite being a small firm, they boast a large and diverse client portfolio across various sectors, offering a dynamic and rewarding working environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality services across audit, accounts preparation, and tax compliance. This is a hands-on role with plenty of client interaction and the opportunity to make a real impact.

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Leading and assisting on audit assignments
• Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing mentorship
• Building strong client relationships and offering proactive advice

• ACCA or ACA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Solid understanding of audit, accounts, and tax
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
