Estimator - Structural Steel

About the Role:
In this key role, you'll produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of structural steel projects - from primary and secondary steelwork to architectural metalwork. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure each project starts on a strong financial footing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse technical drawings and specifications to calculate materials, labour, and time requirements

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for tender submissions

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for up-to-date pricing

• Support the project team to ensure estimates align with project objectives

• Maintain organised and thorough documentation throughout the process

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience in a similar estimating role within the structural steel sector

• Solid understanding of steel fabrication and installation

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
