Position: Structural Steel Welder
Hours: 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
Location: Derby
Salary: £13 - £16 DOE

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team, specialising in structural steel fabrication and assembly. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for an experienced welder with a strong understanding of structural frameworks and construction-grade steelwork.

Key Responsibilities:

* Welding and fabrication of structural steel components to precise specifications.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.

* Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently (MIG, Stick, etc.).

* Performing quality checks to ensure structural integrity.

* Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

* Adhering to health, safety, and site regulations at all times.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in structural steel welding.

* Proficiency with MIG, Stick, and/or TIG welding techniques.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

* Relevant welding certifications (preferred but not essential).

* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
