I am seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in switchgear and industrial sectors such as energy, power, or rail. This role will lead the delivery of complex engineering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and timeline objectives are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for switchgear-related projects within industrial environments.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports.
Manage contract execution, including scope changes, claims, and negotiations.
Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within industrial sectors (energy, power, rail, or similar).
Strong technical understanding of switchgear systems (MV/LV/HV).
Demonstrated experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong commercial awareness, including contract management and cost control.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are desirable.
