We are recruiting for a Secondary Teacher to join a specialist school in Hastings that supports pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those in alternative provision. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Secondary Teacher to work in a setting focused on inclusion, engagement, and positive outcomes for students who require a more tailored approach to education.
Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher, an ECT, or a mainstream Secondary Teacher looking to transition into a specialist environment, this role offers excellent support and development.
The RoleDeliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Support pupils with SEMH needs to re-engage with education
Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership
Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
Monitor and track student progress

The Ideal CandidateQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
