About the Role:
We are recruiting a skilled Production Manager for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on, operational role where you will oversee production lines, manage teams of production and machine operatives, and ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage production and machine operatives to achieve daily targets and maintain high output.

Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet strict deadlines.

*

Troubleshoot technical and machinery issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

*

Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards across production operations.

*

Continuously optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.

*

Maintain accurate production records and performance reports for management review.

*

Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support operational goals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills with experience supervising production teams.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly with machinery and technical challenges.

Skilled in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

*

Knowledge of health, safety, and quality regulations in manufacturing.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
