Who are we looking for? The Front Desk Team is looking for a motivated, reliable and responsible addition to their team. A positive attitude and good previous track record are essential, as is previous experience of delivering high quality guest service. An ability to communicate clearly face to face and over the telephone is essential. Also required is an advanced level of computer literacy.Your duties will be, but not limited to: •Assist Front desk managers for the efficient and professional running of the front desk, including relationships with other departments.•Available to rotate schedules to cover AM, PM and night shifts•Ensure smooth check-in and check-out of all guests, through properly handling guest accounts.•Deal with any guest requests and problems and satisfy their needs within acceptable guidelines.•Ensure that all Elite guests, VIP guests and repeat guests are identified; recognized pre-blocked and special treatment is brought to the room.•Be prepared to perform all front desk functions, including AYS, Business Centre, Executive Apartments and Guest Relations.•Lead by example: Provide a gracious and proactive hospitality towards all customers.•Assist all associates with questions, problems which might occur.•Be at the front desk to ensure efficient and smooth service is provided to all customers. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and hospitality skills. At least two years' experience in a front desk agent's role. Proficient use of Opera knowledge will be an advantage but not essential.
