CNC Turner / Lathe Programmer Setter - £17-£18/hr + Bonus
Hours: Mon-Fri, 07:00-16:00 (flexi start/finish)

We're recruiting for a respected precision engineering company producing fasteners and high-spec components across various industries. This is a great opportunity to join a modern, well-organised facility with CNC Sliding Head machines and an experienced, friendly team.

The Role:

As CNC Turner / Programmer, you'll:

*

Program, set, and operate Citizen L20 & L32 sliding head lathes

*

Oversee a section of 3 machines

*

Change tools, inserts, drills as needed

*

Read and work from engineering drawings

*

Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and shadowgraphs

*

Log counts and quality checks using a bespoke in-house system

Requirements:

*

Minimum 2 years' experience programming & setting CNC lathes

*

Skilled in Citizen L20 / L32 machines and FANUC controls

*

Confident working to tight tolerances

*

GCSE or equivalent preferred
