Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving quality excellence within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The Role:
As Quality Engineer, you will take ownership of quality performance across suppliers and internal operations, ensuring robust processes, effective problem resolution, and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate 8D problem-solving activities for supplier and internal complaints — from initial containment through root cause analysis to verification of corrective actions.
*
Support goods-inwards containment activities to ensure non-conforming products are effectively controlled.
*
Identify, drive, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability.
*
Support supplier audits and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and best practice.
About You:
You are a proactive, analytical quality professional with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for driving standards.
Essential Requirements:
*
Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
*
Minimum 5 years' experience within a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role in a manufacturing environment.
*
Full working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D.
*
Experience producing FAIRs to AS9102 Rev C.
*
Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, statistical process control, metrology, inspection methods/equipment, and 8D methodology.
*
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:

ASQ certification.
