Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dedicated team of chefs in preparing quality, fresh cuisine for our restaurant, bars, room service, and meeting & events areas. Our kitchen serves as the heart of our Food & Beverage department, catering to a range of dining experiences from intimate gatherings to larger events hosting up to 250 guests.

Key Responsibilities: As a Chef de Partie, you will:

* Hold a minimum of NVQ food preparation Level 2 qualification or equivalent

* Demonstrate previous experience in a professional kitchen with fresh ingredients

* Exhibit creativity and attention to detail in delivering quality à la carte and buffet food

* Manage food costs, adhere to Health & Safety regulations, and maintain hygiene standards

* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service, even during busy periods

* Mentor and train junior team members to uphold high culinary standards

Requirements:

* Passion for cooking and a genuine love of food

* Ability to work flexibly on a rota basis, including mornings and evenings

* Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude

* Experience with large volume functions and weddings is advantageous
