About the Role

Work Lyf Group are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist on behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in programming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres, with confidence using multiple control systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.

* Set machines for both existing production jobs and new job setups.

* Work with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controls.

* Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.

* Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.

* Support continuous improvement within the machining process.

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Proven CNC Milling Machinist experience.

* Knowledge of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres.

* Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc.

* Offline programming/CADCAM skills (advantageous).

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and within a team.
