Commercial Vehicle Body Builder
Location: Atworth, Wiltshire
Salary: From £31,500 DOE | Bonus opportunities available
Monday to Friday | 45 hours per week
Rota-based shifts - flexibility given and required

The Opportunity We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Body Builder / Coachbuilder to join a specialist commercial build team based in Atworth. You'll be involved in fitting, fabrication, and full vehicle body assembly on a wide range of commercial freezer and fleet vehicles.

This is a hands-on, full-time role with a growing, well-invested operation offering long-term stability and a strong company culture. If you're experienced in fabrication, panel fitting, and have solid build knowledge—we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
Reading drawings and working from your own initiative to complete builds

Installing insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies

Performing drilling, fabrication, and mechanical assembly work

Using power tools safely and efficiently

Carrying out basic wiring for vehicle lights and electrical fixtures

Maintaining a clean and organised workspace at all times

Following quality and health & safety procedures

Working with minimum supervision and managing your own workload

Supporting team goals and stepping in across build areas as required

What You'll Need
Previous experience in vehicle body building / fabrication

Ability to work from technical drawings and to deadlines

Strong understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment

Your own tools and transport

Confident using power tools and fitting/jigging components

Flexible and proactive approach to shift patterns and job responsibilities

Wiring knowledge - desirable but not essential
